The bad news: The connection in my room appears to have gone kaflooey again. Maybe it'll be better by the time I get home, but I'm not banking on it.

The good news: I lucked into some good deals with Time Warner, and am getting set up for Internet and cable this Sunday. So not only will I finally have a secure connection, but I'll be able to watch my Red Sox, and I'm getting free installation, and I'm paying reduced prices for a year. (Plus most likely splitting the cable bill with roommates, since there'll be a set-up for the TV in the living room as well as mine.)

Hooray! So, unless I hit good luck with that random connection - which I doubt, because last time it went out it stayed out for a week - I'll see you guys Sunday. =D

Oh, yeah, and go Red Sox! 12-7 does not suck. It would be nice if it were 12-5, MANNY, but without your bat that'd be five runs we wouldn't have, so I'm not gonna complain. Also, I love you. So no complaining.

Y'all. The Yankees scored THIRTEEN TIMES in the SECOND INNING in their game tonight against the Devil Rays.

I . . . may die laughing.

And the game isn't even over yet.

Wow. Man, it's not like I expected the Devil Rays to, like, win or anything, but holy shit. This is even better, in the WTF Ironic Humor Department, than Manny's two errors in a row today.

Not that the Yankees' defense is exactly superawesome or anything - the Devil Rays have gotten seven runs, and it's only the fifth inning. Fifteen's a pretty big number to catch up to, though, and these are the Devil Rays.

In other news, the Orioles, who had no problem with the Yankees, are in trouble with the Tigers (8-2 in the fifth). Hee. Silly birds. Go Tigers!

Oh, yeah, hi, the random wireless connection is working right now. Can't wait to have my own, though, so I don't have to play the Will It Work game every time I turn on my computer.
