I know I've already posted on this subject, but the weather this week is so ridiculous.

Two days ago, I was trying not to move so I wouldn't start sweating.

Today? I plugged my space heater in.

IT IS INSANITY.

That said, I much prefer today over two days ago. I have a space heater, but I do not have A/C.

Okay, the Tigers and the Red Sox just both scored a run at the VERY SAME SECOND. *head explodes from overstimulation* And I got so confused I'm not sure what happened for either team. I think Shelton scored Monroe? And Papi scored Rents?

A "driving mist," Don? That's almost as good as as Rod Allen's "lightning-quick grass."

I was Googling images of Andy Pettitte and I found the Almost Best Picture EVAR. And it's only the Almost Best because the Goofy Shortstops are a very nearly impossible act to follow.

Cut because probably not everyone on my friends list really cares. )

I don't even know what to add here. Just - look at their faces. Roger's all, "What the fuck are you doing?" And Andy's eyes look Photoshopped.

I think that this one, much like the Goofy Shortstops, will continue to kill me dead every time I look at it.

Beautiful games from both Bronson Arroyo and Mike Maroth tonight. Tigers won over the Padres 8-2, and Red Sox swept the Reds by winning tonight 6-1.

And awww, I forgot Dave Roberts was with the Padres. I got all gooey when he was at bat, and he got on base, and then he stole a base just for old times' sake. *snf*

The Astros, however, got swept by the Orioles, losing tonight 5-1. I'm not surprised, though. Tonight's starter, Wandy Rodriguez, produces the Ledezma Effect: "Oh, he's starting tonight? *sigh*" I love Wandy, if only because Wandy, as far as I can tell, is his given name, but he's a rookie and he's struggling. A start or two ago he gave up eight runs. In the third inning. Pitting him against the Orioles is kind of unfair. He only gave up four runs tonight, though, which is very cool.

Also unfair: Next the Astros are playing the Royals. And Clemens has the first start. (Goddammit, why couldn't he have started tonight? Why do we have to waste him on the Royals when we could have used him against the Orioles? Oh, well, such is rotation.)
