May. 13th, 2004 03:57 pmWhee. I had a job interview at Romeo's yesterday and I think it went pretty well; technically, they're still accepting applications and also the district manager I spoke with has to confer with the owner, but I seemed to have the experience she wanted and she also asked when I could start, so that seem slike a good sign. If all goes well, I may be moving into Rikki's this weekend and starting a new job Monday.
This is also, however, a not swell thing. Because Rikki's laptop fritzes when she tries to go online, and Scott (her dad) keeps "his" computer locked with a security password, and there's lots of competition for the local library's computers, and the local internet cafe is a bit steep for my liking, I won't be online a whole lot. HOWEVER, once I get settled in, I want to go to Rent-A-Center and check out what they've got for computers. So much of my life is online that simply giving up access for an unknown length of time is definitely not my preferred option.
I bring all this up now because, for all I know, this may be the last chance I get to post for a while; I will be trying my luck at the library and splurging occasionally at the cafe, so it's not like I'll disappear. I'll just need to manage my online time as effectively as I can, and that may mean not so much with the consistent posting. So, basically, no change. =P
Anyway, I love you guys and, should I not be back for a while, know that I am trying to change that.
ETA: Uh, trying the change the not being back, not the loving you guys. See the way awkward grammar can completely change the meaning of a sentence?
