This post brought to you courtesy of The Black Donnellys (no, they didn't air the ep, but it's still up at NBC.com, and it's a great one). Sigh.
I went into the show pretty much expecting it to be cancelled, because it had that sort of Sports Night-Freaks and Geeks-too-good-for-network-TV aura about it, so I wasn't surprised or particularly upset. It's just a bit frustrating to see after the fact where this show could have gone and what it could have done. It's like losing a good book when you're right in the middle and you can't find another copy - you'll never know what happened, and the characters will be stuck in the same place forever in your head.
