Apr. 15th, 2006 10:26 pmManaged to download malware (short version: am idiot). Then managed to find excellent free spyware program and fix problem all by myself. Go me. Guess I am a real PC owner now. That's the initiation, right? Fucking up your computer and fixing it yourself without grabbing the phonebook and flipping to PC Repairs in the Yellow Pages?
Bless C-Net. It is where I found my current security program after the Norton freebie expired and I could not afford to renew, and it took me to my spyware program in maybe five minutes of looking for one. All for free.
Whew.
Still, did not need that heart attack. Will be returning to Macs in that distant future day when I can afford to maintain them. Macs never have those problems. I didn't even need security on my iBook.
I also grabbed WinZip, which does not crash when I try to unzip things (which is more than the one that came with Windows could achieve) and was able to finally unlock my copy of PhotoShop. ARRRRR. So, to celebrate, here's the very first icon I made on this computer. Oh, Morgan Ensberg, you are entirely too adorable.
