I've been reading my entries about last season for the past couple of days, because it's interesting to remember some of the stuff I'd forgotten and relive the stuff I won't forget.
From December 7:
OKAY baseball speculation is getting to my brain. I don't usually dream about the stuff I think about all day; I guess my subconscious figures I need a break or something.
[. . .]
[N]ight before last I dreamed Matt Mantei was traded to the Tigers.
Mantei signed with the Tigers about a month later.
This is not the first weirdly psychic baseball dream I have had (the other was about the Astros postseason; I dreamed that Clemens went on very short rest and we won a game 3-1; in the famous Marathon of Death against the Braves a few days later, Clemens pitched three innings of relief on two days' rest and we went into that game up 3-1 in the series). I had forgotten all about that dream.
I say again: WHAT.
