I've got twenty imaginary intarweb bucks that say May first finds Clemens in Houston, not Boston. C'mon, you guys. It's all very well and fun to speculate, but the Rocket's staying in Houston.

'Course, fuck knows I am never, ever right when I make confident baseball predictions, so watch for him to sign with Boston tomorrow. =P

Am using Dunkin wireless again; have had no success with the random connection at home. Time Warner comes on Friday. *waits*

I have been passing the time with my Lois and Clark first season DVD set, and coming to the unsettling realization that the show started thirteen years ago when I was ten. I'm not sure I like this whole remembering things from thirteen years ago nonsense. Also, I could have sworn I was older, because I know I was writing L&C fanfic when I was fourteen. Guess that obsession lasted for quite a while.

Anyway. You know how you have these random crushes when you're thirteen, and then a decade later you're all, "WTF was I thinking?" Because I don't. John Shea has the same effect on me now as he did when I was thirteen. Actually, considering the powerful influence he exerted over my hormones in those crucial developmental adolescent years, I think we have now found the reason why I am never attracted to actors under the age of forty. (This also goes to show that I have always been weird. Other teenage L&C fans were squealing over Dean Cain or Justin Whalen who is evil Michael Landes is Jimmy FOREVAR. Me? I'll take the forty-plus guy with the cigar and the tailored suits, thanks. See also: Proof that I have always preferred the villain. Mmm, John Shea!Lex Luthor.) To this day, also, I cannot accept any other actor playing Luthor. Gene Hackman? Sorry, no. Michael Rosenbaum? Who is that bald kid and who told him he can be Lex? It's Shea all the way for me, thanks. Random factoid: He went to college with my fourth-grade teacher and dated her roommate. Degrees of separation! Woo!

I'm down to the last four episodes, too, which happen to be some of my favorites, and happen to feature Lex quite a bit. Y'all, that clone episode is way, way sadder when you are growed up. *snf* Also, in one of the eps (the one where everyone is held hostage at the Daily Planet) is none other than Chakotay! I was so amused when I recognized him, and I still don't know why I didn't find him familar when I started watching Voyager in like ninth grade. The facial tattoo threw me, I guess.

Wow, I'm so boring. I bet maybe two or three of you are still reading, and I could name which two or three, too. Hi, Charles! Hi, Lissa! Hi, Joanne! *g*

Remember the short reply post, to make it easier for me to read comments on my cell phone? Yes? Thank you. =D

Edit to add randomly that, now that football is gone (sorry, Seahawks, I think I jinxed you by picking you to root for) baseball can come back aaaaaaany time now. Pitchers and catchers report on Valentine's Day. Then the new season will start and I can order my Bonderman shirt. *waaaaaaaiiits* I miss my teeeeeeeeaaaaaams.
