Jun. 11th, 2005 10:07 pmOMG ASTROS.
They were ahead most of the game, 2-1, then 3-1. Then Brad Lidge, who has apparently been hanging out with Keith Foulke, gave up two runs to the Blue Jays to tie it in the ninth. Then the Astros got guys on base, and then Morgan Ensberg got a THREE RUN WALKOFF HOMER. 6-3! 6-3! Between him and Papi, a girl could get used to three run walkoff homers.
So. The Astros have a four game winning streak for the first time in forever, they have won their third consecutive series, they are hitting the ball and doing other cool things . . . and Clemens still gets stuck with the no-decision. God, what a weird team. I love them.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have a Tigers game to attempt to pay attention to. I was watching that game first, but then it randomly rained for like an hour after the second inning, and the Astros distracted me, and even though I've missed a bunch of Bondo's start tonight, I REGRET NOTHING.
I NEED AN ASTROS ICON.
