Mar. 14th, 2005 09:06 pmWow. So in eighth grade, I was friends with this girl named Crystal. She moved and we lost touch, and when I tried to track her down, I hit a dead end. I eventually concluded that I'd never see her again, and I've been a little sad about that for years.
On Sunday, Mom and I went out for lunch, and guess who was manning the register?
YAY.
So today I went over to her apartment - which was nice, as the house was being shown to prospective buyers today and I had to make myself scarce - and hung out with Crystal and her boyfriend. I can't believe we found each other again, and in so random a manner as choosing a little sandwich shop for lunch on the right day.
(If I had gone to New York, it wouldn't have happened. I'm feeling very Huckabees about the whole thing.)
