Oct. 16th, 2004 07:42 pmIn honour of the upcoming elections, I have (with the help of Icon Queen
watcher_shadow thankyouthankyouthankyouinnitpretty?) changed the theme of my journal.
I would have liked to do up a little theme promoting my candidate of choice, but . . . here's the thing. Much as I can't stand Bush, Kerry's no prize, either. As in all elections and every matter of politics since the dawn of time, he is merely the lesser (although, yes, in this case substantially lesser) of two evils.
But, even though I'll be voting for him, I thought the election could use some spicing up. Let's have a candidate with charm! Charisma! And terrific hair!
Unfortunately, John Edwards is already running for VP. But Rimmer said he'd do it, so, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you:
Second Technician Arnold J Rimmer of theSmeghead Red Dwarf Party. Because he can't possibly muck it up worse than Bush!
. . . right?
