(no subject)
Aug. 1st, 2003 09:40 amI just learned that the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen director's name is Stephen Norrington.
But that's the name I was going to give Commodore Steve, whenever I get around to writing fic! Now what? I can still use it, but - it won't be the same.
In other news, remember that trip to Canada I casually referenced in my last entry? Here's the timeline, assuming I can get tickets to all the buses (yes, I have tried online. It's complicated):
I leave tomorrow to drive to Portland (an hour). From there I will bus up to Bangor (two hours and fifteen minutes).
I will stay in Bangor overnight with Amanda, and from thence bus to Canada (something like SEVEN HOURS, oh GOD), where I am staying with
subservient.
I will bus back down to Bangor on the ninth and stay with Amanda overnight again.
I will bus back down to Portland and return home on the tenth.
I can't wait to spend twenty hours roundtrip on public transportation. (I wonder if the Bangor-to-Canada-and-back busses will show any movies? That would be cool.) I am bringing many books and CDs. I've been meaning to reread the LotR trilogy before Return of the King comes out, anyway . . .
But mostly, I am excited to see Caro, whom I haven't seen in three years, and Amanda, who has been my best friend for my entire life. I'm also excited to, between the two of them, see PotC SO MANY TIMES that I get absolutely sick of it. I think that will be fun. =D
What does all this mean to you? It means that I may not be able to post too much for the next week. Or it means that I may sneak on and do so while Caro is in the shower. I don't know. =)
There. Now, after I finish my coffee, the running around hysterically to pack while knowing full well that I'll forget several things in spite of my list commences.
