Here we have a crossover drabble that is definitely never going to turn into anything else. I am confident of this. I really only wrote it for one person, anyway.

Iron Man/Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

"You realize this body double thing is never gonna work," Perry told Stark. "You've got an IQ of approximately two million. Harry, on the other hand, has to sing the alphabet song when he's looking for a case file."

Stark shrugged this off. "I'll only need him for twenty minutes. He probably won't even have to shoot anyone," he added dryly.

"You'd be surprised," Perry answered. "I don't even let him leave the office without a gun anymore. People try to kill him a lot."

"You know, I am sitting right here," Harry said.

I can hold this off no longer:

I LOVE YOU AND I NEED TO MARRY YOUR BRAIN RIGHT NOW. AND BY MARRY I MEAN HAVE SEX WITH.

*cough*

[identity profile] remindmeofthe.livejournal.com 2008-05-14 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
My brain is flattered, but it doesn't have sex until the third date.

[identity profile] apiphile.livejournal.com 2008-05-14 06:18 pm (UTC)(link)
How does you brain feel about going to the movies?

[identity profile] remindmeofthe.livejournal.com 2008-05-14 06:23 pm (UTC)(link)
My brain expects dinner, too. It is not cheaply bought.

[identity profile] apiphile.livejournal.com 2008-05-14 06:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course! The most delicious mental feast that minds can imagine!

[identity profile] remindmeofthe.livejournal.com 2008-05-14 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
In that case, my brain accepts.

[identity profile] apiphile.livejournal.com 2008-05-14 06:27 pm (UTC)(link)
My brain would like you to know that its intentions are ENTIRELY honorable and that it in no way intends to give you plotbunnies.

[identity profile] remindmeofthe.livejournal.com 2008-05-14 06:28 pm (UTC)(link)
My brain always uses protection.

[identity profile] apiphile.livejournal.com 2008-05-14 06:30 pm (UTC)(link)
This is very sensible. And now I'm struggling not to write Ianto's STD Test Fic again.

[identity profile] remindmeofthe.livejournal.com 2008-05-14 06:31 pm (UTC)(link)
If you have to struggle that hard, it must not be worth it. Best to just give in and accept your fate. My personal fate contains work, which I am now leaving for. My brain and I will ponder things there.

Here, YOU can have my "Universal Id" crown now. You've earned it.

SWEET JESUS, I LOVE YOU!

MINE, EVEN IF IT IS NOT FOR ME!

RDJ^2!

[identity profile] remindmeofthe.livejournal.com 2008-05-15 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
Of course it's for you! Who else do I know who insists I write crossovers and has seen both these movies?

[identity profile] comme-un-buddha.livejournal.com 2008-05-15 08:42 am (UTC)(link)
I'll insist you write crossovers! .... but I've only seen one of those movies. Oh well.

The first conversation I remember having with you was ABOUT writing crossovers. Fifth grade. MMPR/soap opera I don't remember. You have always been a genius.

Oh, god. It was Ghostwriter, actually. Writing fanfic crossovers before I knew what a fanfic or a crossover was. As I recall, the fact that the shows took place on opposite sides of the country was the least of its problems. Of course, I was ten, so I suppose I can let that slide.
