So yesterday I posted a request at redsoxicons, and all I seem to be generating is a bunch of fangirl squeeing. Entertaining fangirl squeeing, mind you, but not what I was lookin' for.

So, I bring my request to my kind readers instead. Could someone please make an icon of the below cuttagged image with the caption, "Theo Epstein is my president"? I need a new theme for my LJ now that this one is kinda passe (how did I get caught unawares with this?), and would like one that combines my Red Sox love (Theo being the brilliant General Manager) with a subtle nosethumbing at He Who Must Not Be Named there in the White House. I will give credit and I will love you forever and stuff. Please?

The font's nifty, but it's kind of hard to read (at least on this computer). Maybe something a bit simpler? I'd prefer a font that's all one colour, but a closer look at the picture has made me realize that it's kind of tricky to work with. Heh, now I'm all interested and wish I had access to a graphics program so I could fuss with it myself.

Actually, the person who made my Rimmer icon just showed me her response to this request, and I'm going to use it. But thank you so much for spending some time on it; I appreciate it. *hugs* Of course, I already love you forever anyway, so I'm not really sure how I'd've topped that.
