I think I need to watch Friday the 13th: the Not-So-Final Chapter again. It's been a week and I'm still obsessively reading reviews of it. Also, Crispin is soooo adorable in it. It's pretty funny to watch him, too, because it's as though no one told him he was in a standard horror flick, so when he read his character's lines, he came to the conclusion that he was in a cute little teen romance flick and he played it that way. So it's like he's in a completely different movie from everyone else. A much better movie. And I bet in that movie his character didn't die from a meat cleaver to the face - oops, was that a spoiler? Well, at least I didn't spill about the corkscr - nothing! Uhm, nothing!
The rest of the movie is highly entertaining too, like the part where the girl can't exit through the front door, apparently because of the body lying across the doorstep. Not like she could have stepped over it or anything.
My only real problem with the movie, I guess, is that Crispin bites it and Corey "Ass-Hat" Feldman survives. I think that's a disturbingly eloquent expression of the state of entropy in the universe. I also think that my friend Christina, who watched the movie with me (this was on my birthday, shortly before we went out Galactic Bowling and I took full advantage of the attached bar) and put up with my declaring approximately four hundred times each that Crispin was so cuuuuuuute and that Corey Feldman could shut up and die please without once telling me to shut up, is clearly one of the most patient people I know. Feel free to go through that sentence once or twice more, I'm done now.
