So. It's been a while since I posted, and I haven't been keeping up with my flircle either. Please post a comment here with anything important that I should know from, oh, the last six months or so. I miss and love you all.

So I'm homeless now. I have been for three months. The longer I waited to post here about it, the less I knew how to say it. You've all been so helpful and supportive, both financially and emotionally, that I foolishly felt as though I'd failed you somehow. But that's bullshit and some of my best and oldest friends are here and you deserve to know what's up.

It turns out that homelessness is not the worst possible thing that can happen. You wouldn't know it from the way society freaks the fuck out about it, but it's true. It's not even the worst thing that's happened to me, and I haven't exactly had a rough life. I mean, it's not fun, but I've been more unhappy.

So. Please comment to say hi, fill me in on your life lately, whatever's going on, and I'll try to get back into posting here at least once a month to let you know I'm still around. ♥

I'm glad to hear from you, and thank you for posting to share what's going on with you. Things are mostly the same around here, I think - I've been not paying as much attention online due to family-related stuff, but am trying to do better at keeping up from here on out.

I hope that your homelessness is as kind to you as possible and that you are able to get back into a better place for yourself (in all ways) very soon. Let us know if there's something we can do, okay?

(I have a ton of gift cards that I never use for things like iTunes -- not so good for necessities, but if you'd like a couple, lemme know.)

Do you have any Barnes and Nobles gift cards that you don't want? I've logged a TON of hours on my Nook - having something to read on a small tablet that doesn't add weight to my backpack has been a large part of keeping myself sane, to the point where it IS a necessity. So if you can spare anything I can put toward eBooks, or a replacement for when it dies (it's the cheapest one, and my second of this model, so I know it doesn't have a hugely long shelf life), that would help a lot.
