Actually, I think the best part of the Christmas special this year was playing "spot the reference." (Eleventy's reaction to recognizing the mining craft was surprisingly subdued; if last time I'd been embroiled in an Androzani industrial dispute I'd ended up regenerating into Colin Baker, I would've been all "fucking shitballs not AGAIN, I hate these people.")
