I've been meaning for some time now to come up with a new username here; catslash didn't fit any more, but I wasn't sure how to find one that didn't reflect a fandom, because I am really bad at usernames. I didn't want a fandom SN because I didn't want to end up wanting to change it again six months later.

Until finally, finally it occurred to me that - okay, I have this thing where if I ever get a tattoo (not likely, I am a wuss), I want it to be of something from Buffy or Labyrinth, since they have both been in my life for so long that they've impacted who I am and how I see the world. So a tattoo inspired by one of those is not likely to become outdated and embarrassing.

Well, DUH, same thing applies to LJ usernames. So: catslash is done, good run and time to retire with dignity, and

remindmeofthe is the handle that will still be relevant if LJ should last another ten years.

And now that's that finally fucking over with. YAY.

Very likely. I can barely remember the names of people I know in real life and there's a couple of people whose LJ names I regularly confuse anyway. This will take you of the "cat group." Stackcats, Alexcat, and Rosecat.
