And I break a month of silence for an important question:

Who else has, since seeing Inception, had the dream where you know you're dreaming and make yourself wake up repeatedly, only to discover that there are layers and you haven't really woken up yet?

Because I know I am not the only one.

(For added fun: I was plotting to try screaming, which I can never manage to do in dreams, on the theory that if it somehow worked in real life someone would come wake me up! Also, I thought briefly abut the Sandman story where Dream traps a dude in a nightmare he can't wake up from. Good times.)

definitely. I've had that dream before--usually after seeing something like "Waking Life" or "The Matrix"--and I noticed an uptick in aware dreams after I saw "Inception." I think seeing media about dreams like that makes you incorporate stuff like that into your dreams, the way that playing a lot of video games apparently makes you slightly better at lucid dreaming.

I feel like I'm the only one left who hasn't seen this movie. :|

Firstly, awesome movie.

Secondly, I've definitely had that dream kind of dream before. I wish I could lucid dream, though.

I'm lame, and have not seen Inception yet. However, I'm also odd, and can't scream IRL if I'm even the slightest bit upset.

WHAT - NO.

Damn!

I had an Inception action-sequence dream with loads of guns and a big ~heist~, but I haven't had the pleasure of layer-dreams yet!

*wills subconscious to do layers next time*

Dude, I haven't even seen it yet, myself D= Which is sad.

I almost never have lucid dreams, though, so I doubt I will ^^'

Not layered dreams, but after seeing the film I had incredibly vivid dreams that almost seemed hyper-real in their detail. Probably the most detail I'd ever had in dreams in my life.
