(no subject)

So I've finally - after, uh, three years or so of going "I am going to watch that someday, no really, I am" - gotten around to watching Life on Mars. The files I legitimately acquired are ripped from the original airings for the most part, I believe, and I was entertained to learn that S1/S2 aired back-to-back with S1 of The Thick of It. (Until TToI ran out of eps, I would assume.) I find the idea of a Gene Hunt-Malcolm Tucker double feature to be both awe-inspiring and deeply terrifying.

I've been thinking about watching that show, but I still need to make it through Criminal Minds and Torchwood first.

I'm into season two and and liking it pretty well so far. I'm so bad at getting shows off my "going to watch it someday" list; Milliways gave me the kick to finally get to this one.

Have you seen State of Play? I feel you'd enjoy.

Also on my list. I liked the movie remake of it, and naturally I assume that the show is a lot better.

*twitch* Well the show has Bill Nighy. Also it's written incredibly well, and the climatic scene was filmed basically in my back garden. :D

Yay Life on Mars!

I find the idea of a Gene Hunt-Malcolm Tucker double feature to be both awe-inspiring and deeply terrifying.

This is true.
