Has anyone else on the flist been watching Dead Set this week? It's a five-part UK series about your basic zombie apocalypse, and the majority of it takes place on the Big Brother set. Being as I am in the States and our version of Big Brother tanked years ago (and I never did watch it anyway), I am not really picking up on the gimmicky pop cultural stuff, but that's okay. The story isn't really breaking any new ground, zombie-plotwise, but it's fun and trashy and I'm starting to like some of the characters. There have been three eps so far; the first was an hour, but the rest seem to be roughly twenty minutes long (once the previouslies are done with), so it's not exactly a big investment of time. If you like zombie stuff, I recommend catching up with it. Be warned, though (or, alternately, don't worry about lameness): just because it's on TV doesn't mean it's tame. There's plenty of gore and swearing and also there have been naked boobies. This is, after all, UK television, not our wimpass American network TV.

I say this every time Dead Set is mentioned - my friends Maud and Doug are in it as zombie extras!

This is not at all related to this post-- but I saw this (http://community.livejournal.com/scans_daily/6476244.html#cutid1) (which is awesomeness incarnate) and thought of you!
