Doctor Who/Torchwood drabble. Not spoilery in and of itself, but you really need to be caught up on recent Torchwood events to understand it. Gen, PG.

Owen, by dint of running late, is the last to meet Jack's precious Doctor. The bright smile on Jack's face slips a notch when he walks in.

"And this is Owen Harper."

When their eyes meet, the Doctor reacts like it's a physical blow, stunned look and full-body flinch. Then he's in motion, striding toward Owen. Then too close, studying him with a horrified fascination that any doctor would recognize.

"What the fuck?" Owen says blankly. The Doctor's expression softens.

"Oh, dear," he murmurs; then, eyes not leaving Owen's, "Jack, what have you done?"

I'm reading these little things backwards, but I just wanted to say, it is seriously so well written that you should be writing the novelization or something. holy crap. Anyway, that's all. Why am I googling Owen Harper at 12 a.m? I do not know. But now I want to read your non-existent book about him and I'm mad that I can't. xo Leontine

I think the question is why more people don't Google Owen Harper at twelve AM. XD

Thank you so much for the compliments! I'm all a-flutter. I'm just intrigued by Owen's character and find drabbles to be an interesting challenge. I'm glad people are enjoying them.

I know, right? I guess they just haven't seen him. Or don't understand the infinite appeal of cheekbones.
