I think my favorite thing about No Country for Old Men is rapidly becoming the sheer wankery it's inspiring. I've been monitoring the comments on the Flick Filosopher's review, and in the last few days it's become active again and devolved hilariously into the following exchange:
"If you liked this movie, you are a mindless SHEEP!"
"If you didn't like this movie, you are a braindead PATCH ADAMS FAN!"
The utter intellectual snobbery on both sides is killing me dead with the funny. Wank on, you crazy diamonds.

(I totally haven't seen it yet. Not that I honestly think I'm going to. I'm so behind on movies XD )

On the other hand, I don't think that the people who didn't like it are pudding-brained imbeciles. In fact, I can even - gasp, oh the horror - understand why they didn't like it! I am such a rebel!
(I am also critiquing some classmates' essays for Literary Non-Fiction, so no additional online presence for me tonight.)
