Hello movie Premonition! Using heavyhanded camerawork and loud music to show us that things are Scary! does not keep you from being a crappy "horror" reworking of Groundhog Day! It just makes you extra annoying and me get impatient within twenty minutes! Also, your ending was dumb and failed to address minor details like how the hell Linda got out of being committed because everyone thinks she is a danger to her children! Don't think for one moment that the brownie points for actually going with the downer ending and letting Jim die after all will make up for the vast number of anti-brownie points (ricecake points?), especially because he only died because he was too damn stupid to get out of the car, which does not make it seem inevitable so much as every bit as contrived as your average Hollywood happy ending!

In other news, I live and am not dead. I merely fail with the severest of faily failing at updating. I will do my very best to fail a bit less once the season starts and I actually have something to talk about, because I don't think you're very interested in my stupid classes or how much time I can shave off with each ascension at Kingdom of Loathing. I'm thinking of only spending one more semester at SMCC, rather than graduating and then moving on to USM for my four-year degree, because my classes this semester have me so bored that I am dying to move on to something a bit more challenging, but I would like to get my science credit out of the way first. I don't really need that to be challenging.

But anyway. Baseball is coming SOON. I splurged with my tax returns this year (since I don't have to spend them on a new freaking computer like I did last year) and bought myself a premium subscription to MLBTV. I am excited. I'm also doing a fantasy team this year, and unlike last year, I tried really hard to expand a bit beyond my three teams and pick up players from other teams as well. This way, I won't be completely screwed with the Tigers, Sox, or Astros have an off day. Uh, just partly screwed, at least with the Tigers. I kept it down to six! Which is probably still too many. Oh well. It'll still be fun. Bonderman is starting opening day, so I already know which part of my rotation will be going. I can't wait.

Speaking of fantasy baseball . . . I was the genius who slept through my Live Draft and ended up with Vance Wilson as my starting catcher on both my teams. >:[

What I want to know is who's going to win the pennant this year? ;)
