IMPORTANT QUESTION.

First of all, you WILL admit to reading the Stephanie Plum novels. I know you do. It's brain candy. There is no shame.

Secondly, I really need to hear from people who agree with the following statement:

The only possible satisfying conclusion to the love triangle would be a Morelli/Stephanie/Ranger polyamorous relationship. Which incidentally would also be intensely hot.

I know I'm not the only one here.

My mom loves those. She got me to read them over the summer, and I got hooked. I completely agree with the Morelli/Stephanie/Ranger polyamory idea, and if you're planning to write any I'd also really, really be into Ranger/Morelli slash. (I have not told her this, but she has expressed the sentiment to me that "Stephanie shouldn't have to choose! It's so unfair!").

I am considering it. Any polyamory fic I wrote there would have more emphasis on the slashy aspect just because that's where my interest lies. Ranger going about dealing with a willing-for-Stephanie's-sake but jumpy Morelli would be fun.

Stephanie also really strikes me as the type who would thoroughly enjoy watching her men go at it. Especially if it's her turn next.

I lean more towards Stephanie/Ranger, but I could see the threesome.

C'mon, dude. The two alpha males working it out. How hot would that be? Plus Stephanie wouldn't have to choose and everyone would be happy!

Dude. Can I have my brain back please?

I totally just finished reading the 12th book and do believe someone needs to at least explore Ranger/Morelli slash. I mean come on.

I'm only on book 6 or 7, but YES.

I started reading them when One For The Money was still in hardcover lo these many years ago. However, the cars getting blown up/will-she-or-won't-she-with-Morelli/Grandma's shtick/the easy catch that always gets away stuff started to get boring. Also Stephanie morphed from someone resembling a normal Jersey girl to the "never gains weight, always looks perfect" typical romance heroine. I do like Ranger though.
