LOL USA.

I am so the anti-patriot. I'm also really glad I happened to end up in my favorite sports bar with the intention of getting a beer before heading home. "Oh, hey, WBC. More baseball! I'll watch it while I drink. OMG CLEMENS I FORGOT. Okay, I'll watch until he's done."

Four plus innings later: "Bye, Roger. We're gonna lose, aren't we? I gotta watch this. Man, I'm broke. Guess I'll have to suck it up and buy the cheap Bud Light draft. Mmm, bad beer and lame baseball. I'm such an Amer AUGH IT'S JOHNNY DAMON JOHNNY DAMON YOU SUCK." I booed the TV. A guy near me bellowed a string of creative homophobic epithets. It was great. "HAHAHA WE LOSE AWESOME."

Japan is totally going to win, just because they like to take the things we invent and be way, way better at them (see: cars).

There was lots of baseball today, because I also watched most of the Tigers/Yankees game, which we won 4-3 on a walkoff RBI (also, Vance Wilson got a homer, which makes his second this spring, which yay, ♥ Vance), and the last couple innings of the Astros/Yankees game, where we creamed the Yankees 10-5. I love how the little league Yankee game was close, and the one where the regulars started was a blowout. I would also like to offer a special thank you to Kyle Farnsworth for giving a homer to Mike Lamb. Mm, Astros homers off Farnsworth. Good times. Fond memories.

I like days off with baseball in them. Man, it was good to watch some baseball.
