I watched Quills last night (after an episode of Coupling, talk about cognitive dissonance), and now I find myself with a desire to write Jack/Barbossa fic. I guess naked Geoffrey Rush affects different people in different ways, huh? Of course, I think the sexuality he simply oozes as the Marquis, whether naked or clothed, has a lot to do with it too. I know there was a scene or two that certainly left me reaching for my glass of ice water.

Anyway. Jack/Barbossa. Yep. Going to see the movie again tonight, too. At a drive-in, no less, paired with Finding Nemo. Seeing Finding Nemo is v. important, as Willem Dafoe does a voice. Must see animated Willem fish. That sounds bizarrely plural, doesn't it?

By the way, I liked the quiz, baileygirl. I hope you finish it.

Geoffrey Rush didn't do much for me in Quills (although I had certain issues with the movie generally), but Jack/Barbossa would be fabulous. *cough*writeitwriteit*cough*

Ah, did you have problems with the whole "taking liberties with reality" thing? I did too, but it was just so damn well-written and entertaining that I can manage to overlook the whole thing.
