OH SURE TRAM LET'S WALK POSADA THAT'S A GREAT IDEA.
Bleah. Yeah, it made sense, because Womack sucks, but goddammit.
Douglass, in spite of being the seeming weak point for the game, had another good start for the Tigers. He only gave up one run in six innings. Can the bullpen hold on to this? NO NO THEY CAN'T. Hey TIGERS, if I want to watch the bullpen BLOW A GAME I will watch the RED SOX, OKAY?
Dmitri got a three-run homer, which, given his slump lately, was awesome, but the Tigers still managed to lose 8-4. Fuck.
Meanwhile, I missed the Red Sox rallying from a 4-0 deficit and Boomer getting ejected for giving the umpires lip or something. They'll show that a billion times during the post-game show, I'm sure, but it's not the same.
Meanwhile, the Astros had a doubleheader against the Reds and won both games, first 4-3 and second 11-6. Fantastic. They are now only five games under .500 yay!
Keith Foulke is currently serving up another of his heart attack specials, so I suppose I should go watch that.
Edited because the Red Sox won 6-4. Excellent. Also, they tell me Manny got his twentieth homer, which I do believe ties him with Teixeira and the Princess for first in the AL.
Edited again because Douglass technically gave up three runs, but only one was earned because the other two came after a passed ball from Pudge that killed a strikeout. So, still a good game from Douglass. I like him lots better than Ledezma so far.
