A strange fact: The Red Sox and the Astros both have five games as a season high winning streak.

This'll teach me. The one night I decide to just watch the Sox game and not bother with MLBTV? Is the night that the Sox get shut out for the first time this season while the Tigers and Astros are happily scoring all over the place.

A weird fact: All three teams played by my teams scored two runs. For the Giants and the Royals, that wasn't even close to enough. For the Pirates, it was plenty.

The Tigers won 8-2. They are back within a game of .500. Aw, and Inge got a lead-off homer. Awesome.

The Astros won 6-2. They are - within ten games of .500! WOO. Oswalt did that thing where he was studly again and kept the Royals shut out till the eighth.

I bet if you search this post for clues, you can guess the final score of the Red Sox game.

I once again have way too many consecutive days off coming up (seriously, self, JOB SEARCH, GET ON IT). This situation has previously been responsible for me doing frightening things like slashing Roger Clemens and filling Yankee Stadium with zombies. This time, I'm thinking Tigstro Sox: a team made up of the best players from the Red Sox, Astros, and Tigers. It will be highly biased and have very little to do with, you know, actual statistics and everything to do with which players have caught my attention by doing awesome things.

Or maybe I could do things like HTML my stockpile of fic and put it on my website, shop for food, go to the bank and put money in my account to pay bills with, and find a job that will actually give me forty hours a week. Right.
