All my teams won today!
The Tigers beat the Orioles, 5-3. This is their second win in a row against the Orioles, for which the rest of the AL East thanks them, I'm sure. (Okay, the Devil Rays probably don't care very much. The Devil Rays probably miss the Yankees. Poor Devil Rays.)
The Astros - who, as I predicted, got shut out yesterday - managed not to go on an actual losing streak by winning against the Brewers, 9-6. YAY for hitting the ball see isn't it fun? Don't you guys want to do it some more?
And we've discussed the Red Sox. But let's review: Not only did they win, they won against the Yankees, and not only did they win against the Yankees, they did it 17-1.
This, obviously, means that the Yankees lost, and that completes my very first night of baseball perfection since the season began.
And it's only ten PM, so I'll even get some sleep for Dad's annual Memorial Day cookout tomorrow.
