Note to self: When looking at baseball apparel, do not click on "Women's." Because, in a sports apparel store, "women's" translates as "here, have some pink." Ew.

The Tigers store has some seriously ugly merchandise. But I want this shirt. However, before I'm allowed to wear a team's clothing, I should have to be able to list the line-up and the pitching rotation, at minimum. This isn't a rule, but it should be. Anyway, I'm working on that.

Holy shit, the Sox just put together the best play ever to get Palmeiro out at the plate for the third out. At least, the guys at WEEI made it sound like the best play ever. It sounded really, really close, but it's entirely possible that everyone involved was just kind of leisurely wandering around. That's how the WEEI announcers like to do it; if they haven't given at least one fan a heart attack by the ninth inning, they haven't done their job.

Listening to further discussion, though, it sounds like it was incredibly close. And the Sox stay up on zip, because Trot and Millar can throw a ball, and Tek can catch it and apply a tag. <3

. . . I think I'm going to need a Tigers icon soon here.

No, it was a really close play. Trot was having some trouble digging the ball out of the RF corner and so they waved Rafi around, and there was a very bang bang relay to the plate. I was muy impressed.

So, how come you haven't gone over to join [livejournal.com profile] reds0x yet? *pesters*

Oh, sweet. God, I can't wait to get my cable. I need NESN so badly.

Because that questionnaire makes my eyes cross. I couldn't even begin to answer half those questions, let alone sound intelligent doing it. The questionnaire seems oriented toward a) people who have been fans longer than I have and b) people who are mathematically inclined (I can barely add two and two, let alone calculate any given baseball statistic). With that in mind, I'm not sure how much I'd have to contribute even if I did pass. I'm not whining or saying you guys are elitist or any crap like that, I'm just saying that I'm a different breed of fan.

It was -BEAUTIFUL-. Very, very close. Tek got him on the foot just before he hit the plate. Millar's throw couldn't have been more perfect. (I'm lucky that I'm at my aunt's house tonight, able to watch the game. :))

Oh, man. Here's hoping there'll be a clip somewhere.

Excellent. *studies intently*

Cool. When I work out what kind of icon I want, I may just take you up on that. =D

I'm especially impressed with how Nook bats sixth and tenth. That's a tactic I hadn't seen before. ;)
