Wow, okay. I don't know who wrote this, but whoever it was wins at life. I'm not even going to bother with excerpts because I'd just end up quoting the entire thing, so go read it. It says exactly what I was trying to say yesterday, but with less enraged ranting and more coherency. And, as a bonus, it tells us what a couple of our boys really said.

On a lighter note, a little quote from Terry Francona for [livejournal.com profile] aloha_moira: "We're just going to gag Millar and my concerns are going to be over."

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a lyricwheel fic to work on. I thought it was going to be a miserable ordeal, because I had nothing, but I woke up with the idea in my head this morning and half the fic practically wrote itself on the receipt tape at work today. All I had to do was hold the pen. I love that.

Edit: And, score. The mystery writer's name is Murray Chass, and the original article is from the New York Times. You win, Murray Chass. You win big.

Care to elaborate a little bit on the fic? Just at least whose involved...

Why, it's A-Rod/Jeter, of course. =D And for some reason, Gary Sheffield has decided he needs to be involved too, and I am afraid of Gary Sheffield, so I'm not going to argue.
