Hmm. It's bright and shiny outside, and yet the bit of the sky that I can see is dark and looming. How discombobulating.

That's really all I have to say, actually.

So your berfday is coming up this month? ("Birthday" is so out, just like "party" has long since been replaced by "par-tay".) Hmm. I'd be happy to write you a fic in any of the genres we both enjoy if you like. Just name it. BTW, my berfday was a few days ago, and if you felt like writing me a present too (HP, any scenario you choose) I'd definitely not refuse it. Don't feel obligated though. I know us working folk are busy trying to pay the heating bills right about now.

How 'bout this: If I come up with a fic request for you, then I'll do yours too, and thus there shall be an equal exchange. I never offer to do request fics because I'm afraid I won't be able to come up with anything: "Oops, sorry. I know I said I would, but I can't. My bad. Teehee!"

Of course, your request is so nonspecific that even I could probably do something with it, so I'll think on your offer and get back to you. =)

Oh, and also, happy belated berfday!

*stares outside at shiny white ice-frosted snow and recalls freezing walk to library*

. . . I think so, yeah. *g*

Definitely think on it. I don't just take requests from anyone, you know? Take advantage. And if you are looking for more specific guidance from me (although it sounds like you're not), I was kind of jonesing for a McGonagall/Umbridge if the thought of said pairing doesn't squick you out royally. But seriously, anything HP from a master wordsmith like yourself should satisfy my craving.

Uhm . . . I . . . er . . . I'm sorry. I can't.

Still thinking. =)
