I rented LXG over the weekend, because it was free, and discovered to my astonishment that it's less than two hours long. It felt SO LONG when I saw it with Caro. Though I maintain that the best thing - hell, the only good thing was Stuart Townsend. Sure, Oscar Wilde is spinning in his grave so fast that there'll be a sonic boom any second now, but at least Dorian Gray got the only actor in the entire mess who bothered to try and give his character a distinctive personality. Or, you know, any personality. Yeah, I'm looking at you, Sean Connery.

Also, I have gotten sucked into the latest meme. Because, frankly, it's short and requires minimal effort on my part. Stolen from so many people that I'm just going to link my entire friends list, although the inserted fact is about someone specific.

I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she talks to dead rockstars and sometimes they answer her."

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well.

Here's my random fact, which I did post in [livejournal.com profile] j_crew_guy's journal: I'm totally and utterly consumed with Crispin Glover at the moment, so naturally a couple nights ago I dreamed about Ethan Hawke. And I've only seen one of his movies.
