Season one is some genuinely good TV, though the last couple of episodes suffer from the writers' strike that year. Rather than restructure, they shoved like five episodes' worth of story into two and it really, really shows. The finale is positively disorienting; by the time it's over you feel like you watched three episodes instead of just one.
