What little I remember about Kyle and Justin is probably totally mixed up with AU things and whatever 'really' happened, I have no idea.

Ditto. They hated each other cordially for a while, and then that changed when Kyle and Vance became friends, and that's all I'm absolutely sure of as being "canon."
