Supernatural. For, I think, the last time.

('Course, that's what I said about Torchwood after "Exit Wounds.")

Things I approved of:

* Chuck being God. Even if the writer-character-stand-in-for-actual-writer is old and tired beyond the telling of it, and even if Kripke's goodbye to the audience was painfully transparent, and even if the "hard to write an ending" schtick was a ludicrous excuse to feed us something that made no sense, and - I don't think I really approved of that.

Or anything else. Castiel as explosive plot device! Jared Padalecki at his twitchy best! Lucifer handily dispatching Castiel and Bobby and then fucking MONOLOGUING at Dean to give Sam plenty of time to work an arm free, like, when did the Devil become a James Bond villain and BY THE WAY why was there never a scene with him trying to tempt Castiel over to the Dark Side through his disillusionment over God, like, hi, that scene would have been awesome? A BUNCH OF DUMB CRAP I DON'T FEEL LIKE WRITING ABOUT. I have really had it up to here with this show. It's gonna be a while before I want to have anything to do with it beyond what I've got going in Milliways. (Which, to clarify for Millimuns, I am still totally happy about. Even if I'm now quietly facepalming and wondering why Cal has to befriend all the doomed characters. Season six will be a good thing for that, at least.)

Okay, I did kind of like Michael getting dragged into the pit with Lucifer. I have this image of the two just shouting at each other for the rest of eternity while Sam and Adam chill out on the sidelines all "Too bad the afterlife doesn't come with popcorn."

You know what, I'm just gonna leave it on that semi-positive note. I'm done here.
