Oh man, I'm so sorry I took so long to reply! I have been stunningly scatterbrained as of late.

I'm so happy this was worth a second reading for you. And yeah, as a matter of fact, this was originally going to be longer. I had these epic plans for streamlining the immediate aftermath of Owen's death (no freaking demons, for starters) and exploring the effects on him, as well as the effects of Gray's presence on everyone. But I just couldn't keep it going past a certain point - trying to was part of why it took me three months to write this. I know I could come back and pick it up if I wanted to, but I don't think I will.
