Am here via apiphile's rec, and am so so so glad I'm reading this. It's exciting and lovely and nail-bitingly good. I stopped in the middle of Walmart and just barely managed to go, "What?! Before I go onto the next part, though, I just want to mention, "I don't know as my boyfriend..." Should that 'as' be 'if'?
