You know things are getting bad at work when even the fact that you need money to live and can't really afford a day off isn't a good enough reason to go anymore, and the only reason you do end up going in is because otherwise your overworked manager would have to cover your shift.

I hate my job. Oh, and if you're one of the idiots who leaves your car running while you pump gas, I hate you too.
