How many damn kids does Pudge have anyway? Conventional wisdom holds it at three - Dereck, Amanda, and Ivanna, and yes, I have my non-creepy reasons for knowing their names.
In the last twenty-four hours, though, the media and possibly Pudge himself would have us believe otherwise.
From yesterday's Notes at the official website:
"I'm human. I'm not a machine. When you go through tough times, it's very hard to put it aside, especially when you live with a person for 15 years. It's not an easy thing to do, because we have two kids."
Okay, so that could be a typo. And I would dismiss it as such, but still use it as an excuse to mock Pudge whenever possible, except for this from The Detroit News:
Rodriguez hasn't seen his two children since early July, but they'll be in Detroit this week.
"It's going to be good," he said. "They can do whatever they want. They can hit me any time they want. I need that."
Uh huh. Okay, Pudge's bizarre theories on parenting aside, what is going on here?
I'm not the first to notice or post about this, but it is too weird to pass up.
