It makes me sad not to trust Curt Schilling.
It also makes me sad that Hernandez got away with nothing worse than a no-decision.
(And I just checked the Tigers game and it made me really sad. 4-1. They're never going to win a game ever again, are they?)
Things that do not make me sad:
Homers from Manny and Pudge.
GameCast apparently deciding that the Tigers game was eight innings long. Heh. They really have given up in Detroit, haven't they? "Fuck it, they just got three more runs, game's over. Go ahead and get drunk, guys, see ya tomorrow."
The Royals leaving in a reliever after he gives up three runs. You know your team sucks when.
Couple of the new(ish) guys, Graffanino and Stern, contributing to the win.
Schilling not, you know, actually blowing the save.
A final score of 6-4 Red Sox in a game that started off 4-0 Royals.
