Time to pretend that my job does not exist and baseball is the only thing in the world again! Yay!
Since I forgot yesterday: Tigers lost 6-1, getting swept by the White Sox. The Astros game was first delayed by rain, then to forced to end in the seventh inning tied at two.
Tonight: Matt Clement and Jeremy Bonderman are both looking for their tenth wins of the season.
BREAKING TIGERS NEWS THAT PROBABLY EVERYONE BUT ME KNEW ALREADY: Magglio OrdoƱez is playing tonight! He's been out like a billion years from hernia surgery, but he's back, and I think he'll have the same kind of effect on the offense that Placido Polanco had: to galvanize them and make them better.
Tonight Bondo faces off against Randy Johnson. I'm not allowed to make series predictions for the Yankees anymore, because I am always wrong, but I think I'm allowed to say that I feel good about tonight's game.
Oh, and today they played a song from Bronson's CD on the radio. It was a cover of a Foo Fighters song, but I didn't catch the title. He sounded great. I'm so glad he can actually sing; you never know with these kinds of vanity projects.
