Somehow, I did not expect that my blood pressure would spike every time they showed Aaron Boone during this series. I suppose I should have, since my primary reaction to 2003 was rage, but I didn't. I HATE HIM.

My first reaction, I was outside trying to calm down, and I heard the cheers from the Yankee fans(I could peer inside somebody's room to see what was going on), I looked up to teh sky and said "Fuck you!" to nobody in particular. That walk from outside to inside w/ all teh Yankee fans around was crap. I kept just wondering why them? They were a great team with such great characters. And why Tim Wakefield? Those questions were answered the next year.

Funny thing--the end of Game 3 of the ALCS was after midnight on October 17, 2004...the one year anniversary of Aaron Boone. The last heartache. And also, the Red Sox started their comeback when the clock stuck midnight on October 18, 2004....a new day.
